Nutritional Advisor (Altrincham)

Part Time/Full Time​

We are looking for a Nutritional Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate would be someone who has a passion for working in a health food shop and would be capable of manning the store for periods, providing in depth advice based on knowledge of natural products and supplements. This role involves providing information, guidance and advice to customers, and as such previous experience working (min 1.5 yrs) within a health food store is a must. The individual must be flexible with their days. 

Duties:

- Advising and helping customers and providing a very high level of customer service.

- General shop duties such as cleaning, ordering, unpacking and entering stock deliveries.

- Greeting and serving customers in all areas of the store and as required providing in depth advice based on knowledge of natural products and supplements.

- Actively participating in general shop duties including cleaning, ordering, unpacking and entering stock deliveries.

- Preparing and serving herb teas, drinks and healthy snacks.

- Processing phone orders and enquiries.

- Maintaining a high standard of product knowledge, developing and update your own knowledge of all the products and brands that are carried in store. This will involve building upon your prior experience within the industry, attending product trainings, reading articles and product literature, accessing brand resources and completing short courses as required, as well as participating in in-house training sessions.

- As required helping with the delivery of workshops and events (the flexibility to work weekends and some evenings is a must).

Qualities:

- 1.5 Years minimum experience working in a Health Food Shop

- Confident, customer friendly, polite and willing to go the extra mile

- An excellent communicator

- Self motivated and embraces responsibility and uses own initiative

- Computer literate​
